This course provides a foundational understanding of diversity and inclusion in the workplace and why these concepts matter to employees and organizations alike. Participants will explore what diversity and inclusion mean in practice, the different ways people may experience visible and invisible differences, and how workplace culture influences inclusion.

The course examines common barriers to inclusion, including discrimination and exclusion, and explains the distinctions between inclusion, segregation, and integration.
